Fermentation is the process of breaking down a substance into a simpler substance & in my kitchen its the good bacteria which is hard at work.
I’ve been eating a probiotic superfood for ten years and finally have had the time to expand on that daily edition with home made kombucha, yoghurt and sour dough, so that most meals consumed contain living goodness along with nutrients from the garden.
It’s all in the experimentation process at the moment and I plan to tweak and improve with each new batch.
Not only is there a bubbling of life in the vessels, I’m also sprouting & growing herbs on the windowsill. Indoor gardening in this hot Australian summer suits be beautifully!
